Life Update Along with Creative Me!

Good day to you all!!!

I thought I’d actually blog again. I’ve been painting a bit the past day or so. It feels nice to be creative once again. I’m hoping to make more paintings as soon as I find ideas on what to paint. I got some canvases, and I made a canvas to a friend/honorary Auntie for her birthday in October. I’m excited to give it to her!!! I’m planning on framing the canvas so she can hang it where she likes.

Besides painting, or shall I say, getting back into painting, I’ve been trying to relax a ton, along with other personal matters I won’t divulge here. Feeling peaceful though, in the midst of it. But I also had a wheelchair malfunction, so I had no power usable power chair for at least two weeks. I’m so thankful I have it back and usable again.

Another update, I’m hoping, maybe in October to apply for college again for the Baking and Pastry Arts Management program. I hope I can pull through this time and graduate. I’m definitely excited for that though!!!

One last thing to say, I’m still waiting for a call from Orthopaedic doctor in regards to my hip. Trying to be patient in the meantime though.

Oh, bringing this back to painting for one last point. I’m looking for suggestions on things I could try and work on painting. Feel free to reach out to me on:

A Very Productive Day

Good afternoon to all you blog readers. I had quite the productive morning this morning, painting wise. I completed two paintings, and part of a third is drying now. 

As I’ve mentioned previously, my boyfriend gave me the marvellous idea of painting dream catchers. So, that’s what I did. I did one dream catcher that looks like it is hanging from the window, and one with a lighter blue background with just the dream catcher itself.

Time to Bring Out My Artistic Side This Year!!

So, I’ve made it my goal to do a lot more painting this year, as I really enjoy it, and I feel it is something I am good at. I find it helps me let go of my stress and allows me to pour everything into artwork. I just completed a painting… the first of 2019!!!

Now I’ve got to keep it up. My goal this year is to get Tactile Tapestry up on Etsy this year and start selling my artwork. For those who are new to the blog, the name Tactile Tapestry came from the art I put forth, for the most part, as I do a ton of abstract art, and am a visually impaired painter. I’m going to do this… and I have you readers to hold me to that, as well as myself.

Just to motivate me, and inspire all you readers, I’ll be leaving a painting I did at the end of this post, as I scanned it into the computer.

Behold, Tactile Tapestry!

Yes, spread the word!! I’m finally doing paintings again, all thanks to my new routine. Since I had to withdraw from school again, due to ongoing medical issues, I thought to put painting in its place. Why?

Why not? Besides, A, the sooner I get paintings done, the sooner my Etsy shop can officially be open! B, it is also a great coping mechanism for what I’m going through medically, and the unknown that comes with it.

So, a great idea all in all, for all of you, as well as for me. Cheers to painting!
